I’ve listened to an audiobook by a French author, Clara Blanc.
The title is roughly translated as “Effortless Living Only French People Know – Secret to Care for Oneself the Best Way.”
In this book, Ms. Blanc recommends effortless living to Japanese people.
Effortless meaning not showing too much effort or strain.
From her book, I got the following messages:
“It’s great if you can increase your competence slowly at your comfortable pace.
Dreams are goals you slowly getting close to.
Each and every day you make progress toward your dreams is the happiness.
You don’t have to do anything special to become happy.
Happiness is doing ordinary things we can do every day.”
As I listened to her audiobook, I thought to myself, “it’s ok to be myself.
It’s ok to grow at our own comfortable pace.
Even if we haste ourselves, it doesn’t make us grow faster.
Let’s be joyous of our slow but steadily progress each and every day.”
