I often could not rest when I was tired.
I had about three fears of taking some rests.
My first fear was that I had to suffer the consequences if I couldn’t accomplish my goals fast.
I thought less experienced I was, harder I must work to become competent fast.
I ignorantly believed harder I work, more results I will produce.
But when I am tired, I make poor choices like wasting my time.
Resting helps me think more clearly and produce ideas.
Being hasty doesn’t make me become faster.
I need to build strength slowly, because there is no other way.
We have tons to do.
We need to rest when we are tired, or we cannot sustain.
Second reason I couldn’t rest was I imagined I will be hated if I take rests while so many others work hard for long hours.
The antidote to that is we need to accept our share of burden and acknowledge we are working enough.
Doing enough liberates us.
The third reason I couldn’t rest enough was that fear of wasting time.
I falsely believed that I get value only from doing things like work, play and study. Time to rest seemed like wasting time.
But, time to rest is necessary for regaining our energy and health.
We feel happy to rest whenever after we become tired.
Rest for your health and happiness.
We can work again when refreshed and reenergized.
Never fear the little resting.
